Usage is metered per API key, so you can attribute spend to a product, an environment or a team by using separate keys.
No charge for testing, ever
Test keys run against the provider’s sandbox and are free without limit. Build, demo and run your CI suite on test keys for as long as you like — you only start paying when live traffic starts verifying real people.
Billing
- Invoiced monthly in arrears, in Ethiopian Birr.
- Usage is metered per key; a per-key usage view arrives with the self-serve dashboard at general availability.
- Volume tiers apply automatically once your monthly volume crosses a threshold.
Questions we get asked
- Is there a setup fee?
- No. You request an early-access key and integrate.
- Do I need a contract to start?
- Not for Starter. Growth and Enterprise involve an agreement, and any account receiving expanded claim entitlements needs a signed data-processing agreement.
- What if Fayda is unavailable?
- You are not charged for verifications that could not complete. The API returns a
503withRetry-Afterso your integration can back off. - Can I get a quote for a specific volume?
